Eastern Lightning Hockey Camp
The Program |
|
Eastern Lightning has been providing a solid hockey education to the dedicated hockey player since 1994. Organized and coached by former E.O.Smith High School Head Hockey Coach('96-'05), Mike Iacampo, the clinic provides innovative instruction for all ages and skill levels.
Some learn to be a
better passer.
Some learn to be a better skater.
Some learn to be a better shooter.
But, ALL Eastern Lightning participants become better
players. |

Summer Clinic
Eastern Lightning is designed to teach
skills with a concentration on skating. Hard work is rewarded
with a scrimmage at the end of each practice. Drills and
scrimmages match players of equal talent to ensure a safe and
challenging game for all.
Unlike a summer camp that only lasts one week, this experience
will allow your child to learn how to be a better player and
not just brush up on some skills. The six week format allows
each player to improve at their own pace and allows you to
take a summer vacation, without your child feeling left
behind.
Each player will start the following season with a new Eastern
Lightning jersey and, hopefully, a stronger passion for the
game.

Fall Conditioning Clinics
Youth Hockey(Mites/Squirts and Peewee/Bantam/Midget)
This 3 day clinic concentrates on skating for players of all positions. The goal is to shake off the summer rust and improve agility. Through this process, each skater will not only hone skills but begin to gain strength and improved balance. Speed and power will be the result of repeating the innovative drills and instruction. Regardless of age or skill level, the amount of reward will be in direct correlation to the amount of effort each skater applies.
High School Pre-Season Conditioning Clinic
This 8 session clinic will focus on preparing each player for the physical and mental side of High School hockey. While building strength and skating skills, each player will be constantly evaluated and taught the "RIGHT WAY" to practice. Although the concentration is on conditioning for the upcoming season, players of all positions including goaltenders, will refine all of their skills. Practices are fast paced, professionally taught, and well organized.
