Eastern Lightning Hockey

Our Participants:

Eastern Lightning has been providing a solid hockey education to players throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island for 12 years. The highest concentration of youth players come from Griffin, Columbia, The Cyclones, and ECHO. Skaters range from age 4 to age 18 and have zero to 14 years of hockey experience.

The Coaches:

Eastern Lightning has been blessed to have coaches in almost every stage of hockey. Here are some of the coaches that have made special appearances at our camp:

Mike has also been selected by USA Hockey to speak at Coaches Clinics. He has served on the coaching staff for Team New England, at the Select Training Camp held in Middlebury, VT.

Directions to the Mark Edward Freitas Forum at UConn:

From Willimantic:
Route 195. Take a left at the light onto 275/South Eagleville Rd. (post office is on right). Take the 3rd right onto Sepratist Road. Take the 1st right onto Stadium Road. The rink is on the right. From Route 32, take a right onto 275. Just over a mile down the road take a left onto Sepratist Road. Take the 1st right onto Stadium Road. The rink is on the right.
From I-84 (Exit 68):
From 84 E (Coming from Hartford) take a right off the ramp.
From 84 W (Coming from Boston) take a left off the ramp.
Follow 195 for about 8 minutes. At the light next to the Mobil station take a right onto Route 32. At the second light take a left onto Route 275. Just over a mile down the road take a left onto Sepratist Road. Take the 1st right onto Stadium Road. The rink is on the right.
From Rt 44 East bound
Take a right onto rt 32 , take a left onto Rt 275. Just over a mile down the road take a left onto Sepratist Road. Take the 1st right onto Stadium Road. The rink is on the right.
From Rt 44 Westbound
Take a left onto Rt 195, Take a right onto Rt 275 after going thru campus, Take the 3rd right onto Sepratist Road. Take the 1st right onto Stadium Road. The rink is on the right.
